By all the console accouterments, you can really get a sense of how the organ is still a practical, functioning work of art. Despite how us organ buffs praise it's beautiful sounds and it's extraordinary historical importance, it is still heard every weekend doing it's utilitarian duty of accompanying the congregation and choir. It's remarkable to see an unaltered historical masterpiece such as this organ, performing the same purposeful duties it did 80 years ago. How often does that happen now-a-day?
