On a personal note, I am reminded of my Grandparents who were among the first French Canadian parishioners. A pew towards the back still bears their names: M. & Mme. Pierre Lemieux. There's something serendipitous about finding this hidden treasure so close to our own heritage. It is our honor, and a meaningful experience to work on this instrument and take these initial steps towards preserving the sounds our recent ancestors heard throughout their life.
